Three Stage Filteration
Stage One
Washable 5 Micron Sediment
Filter
Removes larger contaminants such as dirt, sand, rust, sediment and algae before they reach the finer filtration stages. Its pleated polypropylene design gives it roughly 300% more surface area than many standard cartridges, so it lasts longer while maintaining strong flow.
Stage Two
Multi-Stage 1 Micron Sediment Filter
Targets much finer particles once the larger contaminants have already been removed. Its layered construction captures progressively smaller particles while maintaining strong water flow.
Stage Three
Hydro-Flow 0.22 Micron Activated Coconut Carbon Filter
This is where most of the filtration happens. Combining activated coconut carbon with ultra fine 0.22 micron filtration, it helps reduce chlorine, chloramine, PFAS, PFOA, heavy metals, pesticides, THMs, fluoride, parasites, bacteria, and unpleasant taste and odour. This cartridge is also what physically traps over 99.9% of microplastics passing through the system.
